STEVE Willis Training has announced the launch of electrical apprenticeships in Portchester.

Enrolment has begun and the scheme will start next September.

Steve Willis, managing director of the firm, which is based on the Murrills industrial estate, said: ‘I’m delighted to offer electrical apprenticeships at our Portchester centre.

‘It’s great news for young people in the Portsmouth and Fareham area who want to train and start their career in electrics and, great news for employers who are looking to support apprenticeships.

‘Steve Willis Training Centres recognise the value to young people, it gives them a chance to earn while they learn, gain a qualification in a profession and obtain a job at the end of it.’

Businesses or young people can call (023) 9219 0190 or email apprenticeships@stevewillis.com.
