A new face has taken up the reins at the Fareham base of French helicopter engine manufacturer Turbomeca. Aeronautical engineer Fr�d�ric Fourciangue (38) began his career at Dassault Aviation in 1998 and, over eight years, progressed to manage an increasingly sophisticated range of military and civil customer support projects.

FRENCH helicopter engine manufacturer Turbomeca has appointed a new chief executive for its UK arm, based in Fareham.

Aeronautical engineer Frédéric Fourciangue, 38, has worked for the firm in its head office in southwest France since 2006.

In 2008, he was appointed head of the service management department within the customer and sales support division.

Paris-born Frédéric is married with two daughters and has moved with his family to Fareham.
