COMMUNITY facilities considered vital for a village’s future will be unveiled tomorrow.

A public exhibition takes place at Clanfield Memorial Hall, in South Lane.

The new facilities include a multi-purpose indoor sports hall, bowling green with pavilion, two tennis courts, junior football pitch, allotments, a new skatepark and a multi-use games area.

It comes on the back of two new developments at Windmill View and St James’ Place.

The exhibition, organised by Clanfield Parish Council, is open from 10am to 4pm.

Councillor Guy Shepherd, cabinet member for the East Hampshire southern parishes, said: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for people to come along and see the plans and specifications for what is on offer.

‘It’s a chance to let us know if you or your club would like to be involved in these exciting initiatives.

‘You may wish to set-up your own club to take advantage of these facilities. There is also funding available to help start a new club.’
