TEN jobs have been created due to the continued success of Rolls-Royce models.
The car company announced that their Leathershop has been expanded creating ten positions in the machinist team.
Andrew Monachan, general manager at the Leathershop, based in Westhampnett, Chichester, said: ‘I am delighted to confirm that we have expanded out Leathershop here at the home of Rolls-Royce.
‘Every one of our cars is hand built to order and we are reintroducing craft skills that, in many cases, would otherwise have lain dormant or been lost completely.’
In 2002, the machinist team was launched with just four people.
But, more than ten years later, there is now a team of 40 who work across two shifts.
They come from a number of backgrounds including sail making and upholstery.
