A NEW retailer joined the thriving Locks Heath Shopping Village.

D&G hardware can trace its history back more than 100 years, and its new shop is the fifth branch.

All the shops are in Hampshire and owned by Tony Roberts, the firm’s director.

He said: ‘Opening our fifth hardware store in Locks Heath was a very natural choice for us due to the community feel that the shopping village offers.

‘Our stores offer a very different approach to the larger high street giants as we have a love for what we do and like to build relationships with our customers by offering a personal service.’

Ian Goodridge, regional manager for Locks Heath shopping village, added: ‘The opening of D&G Hardware has instantly benefited our shoppers and just like their boomerang logo I’m sure their customers will keep coming back for more.’
