THE Hampshire health, safety and environmental group has appointed a new president.

Gary Medlow, managing director of Fasset, which runs the Langstone Technology Park in Havant, recently received the chain of office from outgoing president Peter Hewick.

He said: ‘This group provides members with an invaluable source of information, education, networking and lobbying strength to tackle the ever-changing challenges faced by business in the health, safety and environmental areas.’

The HHSEG is a member organisation, which shares best practices with businesses and other organisations, as well as considering and advising on legislation and other regulation.

Fasset’s health and safety advisor, Adrian Slater, has also taken over the post of vice chairman. Walter Cha, of Portsmouth law firm Blake Lapthorn, is the new HHSEG vice president.
