GOSPORT MP Caroline Dinenage has hailed figures showing 130 people in her constituency have had help starting their own businesses through a grants scheme.
Ms Dinenage said the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme gave budding entrepreneurs the chance to get off benefits and develop their own business ideas.
She said: ‘I’m so pleased that people in Gosport have been able to get off of benefits and realise their dream of starting their own business and being their own boss.
‘Small enterprises are a hugely important part of our community and vital to local jobs. Each new job these businesses create in Gosport represents another family with the security and dignity of regular work and a regular pay packet.’
