LUXURY womenswear brand Coast has opened its new outlet shop at Gunwharf Quays.

The 1,604 sq ft store will offer shoppers discounts of at least 30 per cent off regular retail prices.

Kate Bostock, chief executive officer of Coast, said: ‘The key is for customers to feel special and give them exactly what they want from their shopping experience and this is what we’ll be offering in our new store.’

Coast is the latest leading brand to make Gunwharf its home as the centre prepares for the busiest time of year in the retail calendar.

It follows in the footsteps of the premium sailing brand Musto and high-performance outdoor specialist The North Face, which have both opened outlet stores this autumn.

More high-profile arrivals are anticipated over the coming months, with sports brand Asics and designer watch retailer Watch Station due to launch in the coming weeks.

Colin Wilding, centre director at Gunwharf Quays, added: ‘It’s a really exciting time as we increase the number of famous brands within the centre.

‘Coast joins other aspirational fashion labels at Gunwharf Quays, such as Tommy Hilfiger, Hobbs, and LK Bennett, in offering shoppers the chance to enjoy the latest styles at discount prices.

‘High-end sportswear and outdoor apparel is another area going from strength-to-strength, with Asics set to join Musto and The North Face.

‘We’re looking forward to the busy season ahead and bringing even more top names to the city.’
