SIGNIFICANT investment has allowed a packaging company to expand.

Kite Packaging will move to a new 22,000sq ft operating centre.

Currently based in the Nelson Centre in Copnor, the move for Kite’s Portsmouth team will increase their storage capacity by 300 per cent.

Kite Packaging South Coast Neil Hopkins managing partner of said: ‘This is a major investment for the Portsmouth team and we are excited to get started with the building and renovation work, ready to move in May.’

Building work has already begun on the new warehouse which will be completed in May and will increase office space and vehicle yard.

Mr Hopkins said: ‘The expansion in our property footprint will allow us to provide a best-in-class service to more customers in the south coast, and maintain our business growth over the next 10 years.’
