CONSTRUCTION of HMS Prince of Wales, the second of two new aircraft carriers for the Royal Navy that will be based in Portsmouth, has begun as the ship’s largest two hulls arrived in Scotland.

The movement of the two blocks from yards in Portsmouth and Glasgow into the dock at Rosyth marks the beginning of the ship’s assembly phase.
