RAIL passengers are warned that no trains will run on all lines in the central Portsmouth area this weekend to allow line maintenance and renewal work.

Only the line between Havant and Cosham will remain open on Saturday and Sunday with bus replacement services running passengers between stations in the area as engineering work takes place between Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour.

Services along South West Trains, Southern Rail and Great Western Railway are all affected by the works.

South West Trains are running replacement buses between Havant/Cosham and Portsmouth Harbour with a special service operating between Cosham and Havant, calling at Bedhampton.

Southern Rail are replacing all train services between Havant and Portsmouth Harbour with buses.

Finally, Great Western Railway are also replacing all their services between Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour with buses.

Head to southwesttrains.co.uk, southernrailway.com and gwr.com for more details on the works.
