MOBILE phone network O2 has launched 4G in Portchester.

The improved network will give O2 customers living in the area high-speed mobile connection when they use the internet.

Derek McManus, chief operating officer at Telefónica UK, said: ‘O2 customers in Portchester can now experience faster mobile internet on their devices, such as streaming high definition TV, shopping on the go, and video calling.

‘For our business customers, 4G is all about working more effectively.

O2 currently offers 4G in more than 6,000 towns and cities across the UK.
