A GROUP of five business woman have come up with a unique way of showing off their goods and services.

The Hidden High Street is a series of shopping events where online retailers can give customers a real-life look at their products and meet the people who buy their goods face to face.

The first Hidden High Street event is at The Greenhouse Café, Emsworth on Monday, June 17, from 10am until 4pm.

Businesses already confirmed to attend include the businesses which make up The Hidden High Street initiative: toy business The Hare and the Broom; Luxe Look Accessories; jewellery retailer Stella & Dot; children’s accessories retailer Eliza Mabel; as well as guest businesses including picture company Just Hang It.

The Greenhouse Café will also be selling their locally produced condiment range although they will be closed as a café on the day.

The team behind the initiative has also chosen to fundraise for The Rowans Hospice in Purbrook.

Proceeds of prize draws held at the events will be donated to the charity to help fund its day-to-day running costs.
