FAMILIES gathered at an open day held by a development company.

Yew Gardens in Waterlooville hosted a family fun day where visitors took part in a host of activities.

The development of three and four-bedroom family houses, built by Redrow Homes, threw open its doors for the open day.

Children met company mascots Buster and Buddy the bears and families enjoyed treats including a hog roast and ice cream.

The three showhomes were open for prospective buyers to look around and to meet their potential new neighbours.

James Barnes, sales director at Redrow Homes (Southern Counties), said: ‘It was great
to welcome so many people to the family day.

‘We hope everyone enjoyed the occasion.

‘The three show homes demonstrate the high quality we deliver at Redrow.’

Alice Church, sales manager at Savills, said: ‘It was a good day and a great opportunity to get the community involved.’
