UNIVERSITY graduate Nathan Cable has been awarded for his business which he built by travelling and partying hard.
Nathan, a former University of Portsmouth business student, has been listed as one of 30 young travel stars by leading travel industry magazine, Travel Trade Gazette.
The 26-year-old set up his travel business Party Hard Travel, with fellow Portsmouth university graduate Barry Moore in 2012.
The pals were inspired to go into business together after a lads’ holiday in Ayia Napa, where they booked all the events, travel and accomodation themselves, saving hundreds of pounds from what their friends paid on a package deal.
Since then they have expanded and now offer trips to places such as Malia, Zante, Ibiza, Kavos, Sunny Beach and Magaulf.
This year has been their busiest yet, with bookings up 450 per cent on last year, leading Nathan to be listed in the magazine’s scheme, Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders, an initiative that shines the spotlight on the travel industry’s most inspiring young people who have made an outstanding contribution to their business.
Nathan said: ‘It’s a great honour to have been selected in this prestigious list and I aim to make the most of all the opportunities which the scheme brings.
‘Barry and I have worked extremely hard over the past few years to build up a reputable business and I hope this can inspire any one reading that if you put your mind to something and put in lots of hard work, anything is possible.’
They plan to launch a Party Hard Travel booking platform in the coming months which will enable travel agencies across the country to book customers on Party Hard holiday packages.
Nathan said: ‘We just launched our summer 2017 packages, for which an advertisement featured on the new series of the hit TV series, Geordie Shore. Things are really starting to fall in to place for us, we are aiming to send 10,000 guests on holiday this year and we can’t wait.’
As one of 30 selected from across the country, Nathan will receive free membership to the Institute of Travel and Tourism, and be invited to a series of networking events.
