A BIRTHDAY party is to be held on Saturday to mark 30 years since Locks Heath Shopping Village opened.

Eight local schools have designed a banner to help celebrate, and from 11am until 4pm there will be craft and produce stalls, a barbecue and a giant game of pass the parcel. There will also be offers and discounts in stores.

Centre manager Ian Goodrich said: ‘This is the perfect time for shoppers to discover all that Locks Heath Shopping Village has to offer.’
