A Fareham-based IT firm has signed a lucrative deal as sponsors of Portsmouth Football Club.
Matrix IT Solutions has become the main sponsors for the club’s players lounge for another season.
The company has always had the community at the heart of what they do, and being part of the UK’s biggest community-owned club is proof of this commitment.
Despite the fluctuating economic climate, Matrix IT has seen a rise in business in the last few years.
The number of businesses outsourcing their IT problems to them, has led them to recruit more specialists to manage the increase in demand for its services.
Matrix IT Solutions is an independent company and one of nine businesses spanning the UK with specialist knowledge and expertise in computer solutions.
Director of sales and marketing, Nic Cronin, said: ‘We are passionate about delivering excellent service to our clients.
‘We know from our experience that our staff are the key to excellent service delivery.
‘We know if we treat our staff with respect and offer great benefits and work packages they will stay with us and be ambassadors for our business and become an integral part of our growth plan.’
Mr Cronin believes the working mentality of his staff matches that of the Pompey players, and this is why their partnership works so well.
‘Portsmouth FC are one of the best supported clubs in the country and we are proud to be sponsoring them,’ added Mr Cronin.
‘Being a community-owned club fits with our beliefs in the power of the community and local businesses pulling together too.’
Staff at the football club are looking forward to having the IT company on board again, as their sponsorship brings in new spectators.
Pompey’s head of sponsorship and commercial partnerships, Anna Mitchell, said: ‘Matrix IT Solutions is a well-established local business we have enjoyed working with and look forward to our relationship developing.’
