BARBER Dan Lee is on the road and will be offering students the chance to get their hair cut for free.

Mr Lee, who was named Barber of the Year in The News’ Hair and Beauty Awards earlier this year, is taking part in the touring pop-up barber shop being run by mobile network giffgaff.

Mr Lee, from The Terrace, which has salons in Southsea and North End, will be touring 10 cities. The promotional tour has stopped in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and Bristol.

It will be in Cardiff today, Brighton tomorrow and London on Friday.

Dan, of Cavendish Road, Southsea, did his training at Total Barber Academy in London. He has been joined by stylist Jenny Rhodes – known for her military speed-cut techniques on TV show 24.
