HOLIDAY company Focus Travel has put a twist on its latest cruises – and is combining hobbies with holidays.

The company, based in Portsmouth, has set up a week-long Antiques Quest cruise.

TV star Tim Wonnacott, famous for the programme Bargain Hunt and a former director of Sothebys, will be on board as host.

The luxurious Oceania Marina sails from Rome on October 15.

The trip includes return flights, plus three land excursions to antique shops, fayres and flea markets, in Florence, Sicily and Barcelona.

Mr Wonnacott said: ‘I did this cruise last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.

‘It’s great to meet people who really love the show and feel they have what it takes to find a real gem amongst the vast array of items available at the three destinations on the cruise.’

Tony Childs, director at Focus Travel, said: ‘By listening to our customers’ wants and needs we can deliver their wish list in one perfect package.

‘Tim is a great character and certainly does a grand job on board.’
