PORTSMOUTH Water customers are the most satisfied with their service in the country, according to the number of complaints made last year.
According to information provided by the water regulator, the company has received fewer complaints per 10,000 customers about its service than any other water company in England and Wales.
Research by the Consumer Council for Water, also shows overall that 150,942 written complaints were made to water companies across England and Wales in the year to March 2013, with Portsmouth Water receiving 320 for the whole year.
Neville Smith, managing director, said: ‘Whilst accepting one complaint is a complaint too many, I am still really pleased that, once again, we have the lowest level of complaints in the industry.
‘Whilst the small increase is disappointing, our overall record sits impressively.’
