JOBSEEKERS have the chance to find a post at historic Burley Manor in the New Forest.

The manor is offering 40 new jobs following a £1.7m refurbishment and is hosting a recruitment day tomorrow from midday to 8pm.

Management roles, as well as teams of waiters, spa therapists, housekeeping, reception and bar staff will all need to be filled.

General manager Matthew Gardner said: ‘We are looking for people who are passionate about hospitality.

‘Our relaxed, informal approach to guests means that all of our team will need to be welcoming.

‘Everyone who comes through the door for our recruitment day needs to come with a smile.

‘Experience is not everything – we are also looking for people with the right attitude.’

Apprenticeships will also be available at Burley Manor through partnerships with River Cottage and Brockenhurst College. They will include opportunities for kitchen and front-of-house team members.
