Campaigners vow to never stop fighting for Southsea pub

A CITY centre building will be demolished in the spring to make way for a new Premier Inn and convenience store.

Planning permission for the 84-bed hotel at Midland House in Dugald Drummond Street, next to Portsmouth and Southsea train station, has already been granted.

The project has been valued at £8m and will create around 35 new jobs.
