WORLDWIDE logistics firm PSP has announced plans to open a new office in Poole in Dorset.

The company has sponsored the PSP Southampton Boat Show in Southampton for the past seven years.

PSP’s Poole office, which will solely focus on freight and packing services, marks the latest stage in PSP’s expansion and brings its total number of offices in the UK to four, including one in Fareham.

Managing director Frank Dixie said: ‘Demand for our freight and packing services continues to grow, particularly in the commercial side of the business and our new office will allow us to not only better service our existing customers in that area but also attract new businesses in the vicinity.

‘The decision to open an office in Poole was a strategic one, with the borough and neighbouring Bournemouth fast becoming an epicentre for business and manufacturing. Only this month Bournemouth was listed by Grant Thornton as one of the biggest growth places outside London, which supports our understanding that there is a great deal of business to be done there.’
