Recruitment agency looks to a bright future

AN AWARD-WINNING recruitment firm is hoping for a bright future as it takes over a new office.

Jodie Rafferty, managing director of Rafferty Resourcing, said she was delighted to be handed the keys to her new office in Hussar Court, Waterlooville this month.

Jodie, 33, from Waterlooville, won a prestigious REC Award in the Best Client & Candidate Experience category and she was also shortlisted for Business Mother of the Year award.

She launched Rafferty Resourcing in 2015 but to temporarily stop trading due to a legal case. She was also involved in a car crash and her son was diagnosed with ME.

She said: ‘Everything went wrong at the same time – it was a bad time.’

But after 12 months of trading, Rafferty Resourcing, which operates across a variety of sectors from professional services to engineering, is a business on the rise once more.

Jodie said: ‘We have been overwhelmed with the feedback we’ve had from local businesses and candidates.

‘Rafferty Resourcing may be a small family-run business, but our service is first class.’
