POMPEY have teamed up with a restaurant group in a sponsorship deal for the ground’s Victory Lounge.

Red Lounge group, a restaurant company from Portsmouth, has sponsored the lounge at Pompey’s Fratton Park ground.

The room now carries the name of Kassia, one of the company’s brands, which has branches in Drayton and Clanfield.

Kassia offers a range of Indian tapas dishes in a chic and stylish cocktail bar environment.

As well as Kassia, the company owns the Red Lounge Steak and Lobster restaurant in Cowplain and Drayton, and the Pasha Indian restaurant in Cowplain.

Pompey chief executive Mark Catlin said: ‘We’re delighted to have done this deal. They are an up-and-coming restaurant chain, with a strong local identity – just the sort of business the club want to work with.’

Kaz Miah, CEO of the group, added: ‘We’re delighted. Pompey stood out to us as a community club whose beliefs were in line with ours.’
