ROLLS-Royce Motor Cars has announced that James Crichton has been appointed as regional director of Europe and South Africa, based at the company’s head office at Goodwood, West Sussex.

In his previous role he was regional director, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Prior to Rolls-Royce, James had many years of experience in BMW Group and has worked in sales and marketing.

James and his team in the Middle East enjoyed significant success during his tenure, with the region playing an important role in securing the company’s most successful year in 2011 since it was founded 108 years ago.

‘I am delighted to welcome James to the home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood,’ said sales and marketing director Jolyon Nash.

‘With his broad experience and strong track record, I am confident that he is ideally suited to further develop our strong position in Europe and South Africa.’
