ROLLS-ROYCE Motor Cars has confirmed the construction of the company’s new Technology and Logistics Centre in Bognor Regis is now well under way and on target to be fully operational in early 2016.

Ground was first broken last month and the site is currently being levelled in readiness for building works to start in the new year.

The Technology and Logistics Centre is located on the Oldlands Farm Business Park, eight miles from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Goodwood.

It will consolidate three current operations – an inbound warehouse for production parts, a distribution centre and a workshop for car preparation.

Frank Ludwig, director of manufacturing, speaking from the home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, said: ‘I am delighted that construction of our Technology and Logistics Centre is now well under way.

‘The development reflects not only the sustainable growth and ongoing success of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, but also our investment into the future of our manufacturing here in West Sussex.’
