A NEW housing development in Paulsgrove has had whirlwind sales since the first phase of homes went on the market.

Eleven new houses within Barratt Homes’ King Richard Place were snapped up in just six weeks, which is more than three times the national average.

The development was launched in September with great fanfare, including an invitation for the new neighbours to visit for some drinks and nibbles.

Interest was high ahead of the sales of the two, three and four bedroom homes.

Sales director Sarah Eales said: ‘We’ve seen a lot of young families looking to set up home here and just as many people looking for more space.

‘Many have been first time buyers and they’ve often been surprised at what they can afford at King Richard Place.

‘The nearby schools have been a major pull for families, as well as the fantastic range of amenities in the city.’
