Mary Rose marks major milestone in recovery anniversary

SHIPBUILDERS will hand over the second of three corvettes built for the Royal Navy of Oman today.

Al Rahmani was designed and built by BAE Systems in Portsmouth.

The vessel will be accepted by Oman in a ceremony at Portsmouth Naval Base.

The ship will undertake a range of operations including coastal patrols, disaster relief, search and rescue, and deterrence operations.
