A PRECISION engineering firm has kept its business local by asking a Waterlooville design firm to modernise its image.

Portsmouth’s DKW Engineering, hired creative consultant Design Image to better reflect its work in the aerospace, defence, environmental, nuclear, medical and petrochemical industries.

‘We were delighted to be given this opportunity, especially as DKW Engineering is a local company,’ said Adrian Notter of Design Image.

‘The main objective was to build on their long-standing reputation and to help take them forward into new and exciting times.’

Karl Iacobucci, business development manager at DKW Engineering, said the value of orders the company had won recently had exceeded the cost of rebranding.

He added: ‘The rebrand has given us a feelgood factor from the MD to our delivery driver.’
