TALENTED siblings have teamed up to open a new hair salon in Gosport.

The salon, called Lavish, at 7b Bemisters Lane, will hold its official opening on Saturday, October 8 from 11am to 4pm.

Phillip Donellan, 32, and his sister Danni Fairweather, 18, both from Gosport, will be working in the salon when it opens.

Phillip bought the salon, which used to be the New Antiques Store, two months ago and has transformed it.

He said: ‘It’s going to be really quirky.

‘It is a small independent salon, with four work stations. We’ll be using milk_shake products, from Italy, and it’s got an English country theme with a twist.

‘Hairdressing is my passion. It’s nice to do finally be able to work for myself.’

Phillip originally trained at Rosemary’s salon, in San Diego Road, Gosport, before spending 12 years working in London and Bournemouth.

He is on the look out for two new members of staff – and invited everyone to the opening day.
