Horndean-based plastics, print, graphics, acrylic display, signage and point-
of-sale company, Key2 Group, is the UK’s first company to own the new AXYZ Trident 6010 CNC router.

This new £85,000 machine, provided by AXYZ International, is the UK’s first high speed router – the only one which has an output of 50 metres per minute compared to the normal 25m per minute.

Mike Keating, managing director of Key2 Group, said: ‘We are very pleased to be the first UK Company to install the new AXYZ Trident 6010 CNC router.

‘It offers us a superb service and the new machine means we can pass on its many benefits now to our wide customer base and work on an increasing amount of exciting new projects.

‘This new router is far quicker, cleaner and quieter than any previous generation routers, allowing us even greater accuracy and the option to now provide additional services such as the cutting of metals like brass and aluminium.’

Key2 Group will now have the ability to venture further into the aluminium signage market as well as cardboard technology.

‘It’s really exciting to be able to further diversify as this new machine also offers us ability to score, crease and cut cardboard and other such materials, meaning that we can now create packaging too amongst o
ther items,’ added Mr Keating.
