SITE managers working for housebuilder Barratt David Wilson have scooped six prestigious awards in a national competition.
The competition rewards the best-run building sites in Britain.
Phil Cripps, Jim McCann, Nick Street, Jon Fuge, Matt Annalls and Gary Bagley gained official recognition for the excellence with which they run their developments, with a Pride in the Job Quality Award. The Pride in the Job Quality Awards are determined after the construction standard-setting body, the National House-Building Council, carries out spot check site inspections to select the best-organised developments.
Phil works at Seacrest Gardens in Lee-on-the-Solent and won this award for the fourth time while Isle of Wight-based Jim oversees work at Hawthorn Meadows.
Matt won his third consecutive Pride in the Job award and two-time winner Gary is site manager at St Mary’s Place in Felpham.
Nick is responsible for Foxfield Grove in Petersfield, and Jon, who is based at Cherry Tree Grove in Ferndown, won the award during his first year with the company.
The site managers will now go to the final round of the competition for best site manager in Britain.
