FREE enterprise talks and support sessions for small businesses and budding entrepreneurs are being offered by a council.

The event, called ‘Fareham First for Business’, will take place at Ferneham Hall, in Fareham on Monday.

The session will feature Robert Briggs, an expert on business compliance/trading standards and Suzii Fido, offering guidance on internet marketing and Google.

Fareham council has teamed up with business experts Enterprise First, which will run and host the event.

Council leader Sean Woodward said: ‘These sessions provide a real opportunity for business owners to gain valuable knowledge for free, and possibly build new links by networking with other business owners. I’d urge people to put aside some time to go along if they can.’

The sessions will take place between 6pm and 7.30pm. Free tea and coffee will be provided and there will be an opportunity for networking with other attendees. To register go to enterprisefirst.co.uk.
