A SOUTHSEA soap company has been short-listed for a national award.

The British Small Business Awards announced that Southsea Bathing Hut has earned a place in its shortlist for Micro Business of the Year category.

Samantha Worsey, founder of Southsea Bathing Hut said: ‘This is a real honour for us. For us to have been short-listed is very prestigious. It’s a testament to our hard work over our first 18 months of trading. All those 12-hour days and seven-day weeks are proving to be worth it.’

The awards take place in London’s Grand Connaught Rooms on October 20.
