TWO entrepreneurs are offering homeowners in south-east Hampshire the chance to get solar panels fitted for free.

Businessman Paul Williams and entrepreneur and environmentalist Ben Way, who have both appeared on Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire have started Freetricity, launching it in Surrey a month ago.

Hampshire has been chosen as the second region for the company’s expansion.

The firm will install and maintain the panels for free, giving homeowners the benefit of up to 40 per cent saving on electricity bills.

It makes its money by taking the Government’s incentive for homeowners to install panels and cash from energy providers.

In return, homeowners do not have to pay for the panels to be installed.
