FAREHAM law firm Glanvilles has sponsored two students helping out at hospitals in Nepal.
Jenna Weeks and Natalie Travis are both physiotherapy students, and spent five weeks in Nepal where healthcare is not easy to access and many people suffer from leprosy, tuberculosis and occupational conditions as a result of the hard labour required to make a living.
The pair also supported other areas of physiotherapy during their trip, visiting the Muscular Dystrophy centre in Bhaktapur, which is a small rehabilitation centre for young children with degenerative muscle weakness.
They took home an oil painting completed by one of the young people they had been helping during their time there.
They said: ‘We’d like to send a huge thank the team at Glanvilles for their generous support.’
