A BAGUETTE shop is to celebrate 25 years of business by holding a party and organising a charity raffle.

La Croissanterie, on Osborne Road, Southsea, will hold the day on Friday, October 25 from 9am until 3pm.

Manager Andre Guedeney said: ‘It’s been 25 years since my dad Jean-Marie set up La Croissanterie so, as we are a family business, we thought we would hold a party and celebrate.

‘As a thank you to our customers, all our baguettes will be at a discounted price of £2.50 and there will be nibbles and drinks on offer. We’ll have the shop decked out, and we are holding a charity raffle in aid of Rowans Hospice. It should be good fun.’

The shop has had many prizes donated from nearby businesses including a £50 meal voucher for Rancho steak house, a haircut in Smyth’s and breakfast for two in Shenanigans Irish bar. La Croissanterie will be donating a French food hamper, including Champagne.

Raffle tickets are £1 and the draw will take place at 3pm on the day.
