A PUB will lose a top award – only to be swiftly presented with it again.

The Campaign for Real Ale’s Portsmouth and South East Hampshire 2012 pub of the year trophy will be taken away from The Hole In The Wall, in Southsea, at 8pm tomorrow.

Camra members will then add a 2013 plate to the trophy before handing it back following a pub crawl from Old Portsmouth to the venue on Monday, May 27.

The free house has now won the award four times, the other times being in 2012, 2009 and 2007.
