LUCKETTS Travel in Fareham has invested nearly half-a-million pounds in two new coaches.

The two Irizar 16 coaches, which cost £235,000 each and are built by a Spanish manufacturer, are among the first to arrive in the UK.

They will be used mainly for the firm’s platinum tours, where passengers travel to top UK and European attractions and destinations.

Steven Luckett, joint managing director for Lucketts Travel, said: ‘By investing in these new coaches we can continue to offer the highest levels of comfort and quality to our customers, with lower operating costs than older vehicles.

‘It will help us to stay competitive and give great value to our passengers.’
