LOCAL law firm Coffin Mew has run a sports day with other businesses to raise money for Fairbridge Solent.

The sports day, which was held in Knowle Village, Fareham, was the first stage of a Zero to Hero challenge to add a zero to £500 of the charity’s funds.

Games included welly tossing, hula hoops, limbo, frisbee, netball shooting and football penalties, and a relay.

Charlie Barnes, from the Coffin Mew, said: ‘It was the relay that brought the most laughs - teams had to use a sack, egg and spoon, football and most people’s favourite, a space hopper.’
