A PUPIL at a Waterlooville school has been offered a job after impressing a company while she was on work experience.

Molly McMaster, 17, from Oaklands Catholic School, will now be able to work part time at at Fareham-based Amiri Construction.

Molly said: ‘I would prefer to be working on a construction site and I have an interest in the ground working element of the construction process.

‘It seems a more challenging environment on site. I’m grateful to Amiri for offering the chance to work with them for the experience.’

Amiri Director Neil Cole said: ‘Molly has impressed so many of our team with her intelligent questions and natural interest in the construction techniques we use.

‘I believe that she deserves our encouragement and help to build her career.’

Molly plans to study construction engineering at university.
