VISITORS are being treated to a number of action-packed activities at one of Portsmouth’s famous landmarks during the summer holidays.

The Spinnaker Tower will kick off the fun with a Wii Sports Championship, and eager gamers are being encouraged to compete for the top scoring spot.

‘Face your Fears Fridays’, will see visitors take on a different daring challenge every week.

This Friday will see daredevil abseilers take on the task of descending 100 metres down the tower.

The week after creepy crawlies will be kept on one of the view decks and bug expert Sally Ann will be there to tell youngsters that bugs aren’t as scary as they might think.

Activities at the tower, in Gunwharf Quays, are running between July 24 and August 9.
