A SUMMER of British sport has finally been declared over at Langstone Technology Park in Havant.

During the Olympic and Paralympic season, staff from companies based at the site were encouraged to get caught up in the atmosphere as Team GB chalked up triumph after triumph.

Fasset, which manages the former IBM building, added new televisions to its communal areas so the track dramas, sailing successes and horse triumphs could be witnessed as they happened.

The firm also installed a table tennis table and some garden games which proved to be a huge hit with staff.

And decorating the building were life-sized cut-outs of sports stars.

Staff were given the opportunity to bid for them in a raffle which raised £100.

The money will be donated to Fasset’s Susi Whitehill, who is planning to run the London Marathon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
