McAndrew Martin has already welcomed a series of new employees as it enters the next phase of its growth following a restructuring into six divisions.

Managing director Bill McAndrew said: ‘Demand continues to rise for our services, including our structural engineering expertise.

‘I’m pleased to welcome Michele, as a skilled and committed structural engineers of his calibre can be difficult to recruit. He will be a valuable addition to our experienced team.

‘We anticipate more appointments in 2017 to meet increased volumes of work and deliver an even greater service for clients while also supporting the local economy and property sector.’

The expansion of the structural engineering department comes in response to new workloads driven by MoD projects and commercial contracts.

Michele will work under director of structural engineering Noor Awan.

Noor said: ‘The appointment represents significant expansion of our structural engineering department.

‘It demonstrates the increasing importance of the department as an integral part of the firm’s multi-disciplinary services.’
