Leading local housebuilder Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has moved to new premises at Wessex Business Park at Colden Common, Hampshire.
The developer’s new headquarters are located in Colvedene Court, the business park’s largest office building and now home to 76 members of staff, including Taylor Wimpey’s regional strategic land and legal services teams.
The building, which was previously occupied by the Environment Agency, has been refurbished and offers Taylor Wimpey more space, a better location and more modern facilities than its previous offices in Chandler’s Ford, where it was based for 15 years.
The new offices have communal space and break-out areas, as well as a host of environmentally-friendly features including photovoltaic solar panels, low energy lighting and heating and electric car charging points.
David Brown, the managing director of Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said: ‘We are delighted to have moved into our new offices at Wessex Business Park.
‘Our old premises in Chandler’s Ford served us well for many years, but our new home is a fully-refurbished office building with modern facilities which will better suit our business needs.’
