BUSINESS leaders from across the country have gone head to head to try and answer the question of how businesses in Hampshire can grow.

They gathered at The Solent Hotel in Whiteley to debate and find out about access to finance.

They were guests at an event hosted by Grant Thornton LLP and the Confederation of British Industry.

Norman Armstrong, partner at Grant Thornton, said: ‘A key element that came through on the day is that businesses do have opportunities to grow - particularly by capitalising on emerging markets overseas - but are struggling to access the cash to fund that growth in the ways that they used to.’
