TEACHER Brian Sears has published a children’s book that explains baptisms.

It is the third book for Mr Sears, from Cosham, a teacher with nearly 40 years’ primary education experience.

Mr Sears retired in 1997 but continues one-to-one tuition.

His book ‘Timothy Bear and the Baptism Box’ is for children aged four to seven and is written in 12 short stories.

It explores Christianity through Timothy Bear whose sister is getting baptised.
