Three firms top the list for growth

The list was compiled as part of the third year of a campaign to support the central south mid-market, run by accountancy and business advisory firm BDO.

The companies are Captec, Portsmouth Aviation and European Exhaust & Catalyst.

And Colt Group in Havant and fresh produce company Barfoots received special recognition for their international achievements.

Arbinder Chatwal, from BDO, said: ‘We recognise that overseas expansion is key to the growth of many mid-market companies in the region, and the potential impact of Brexit could be significant.

‘This makes it even more important to recognise the best performers and support those with bold aspirations.’
