THIS team of hairdressers have proved they are a cut above the rest.

Review Salons, which has salons in Southsea, Waterlooville and Petersfield, is through to the national finals of the British Hairdressing Business Awards.

The firm has been shortlisted for the Training Award category, sponsored by salon products firm Wella Professionals, for its in-house training scheme. The group was selected by a judging panel made up of experts in hairdressing. Review Salons will be joined by other finalists at a champagne reception and awards evening in London in September.

Paul Hawes who runs the Review Salon Group with business partner Elaine Armitage, said: ‘We are absolutely delighted and honoured to be through the finals of the British Hairdressing Awards which, within this industry, really are the crème de la crème.

‘We are very committed to our in-house apprenticeship scheme and take real pride in the quality of training we provide.’
